Embrace the call! Steinbach Bible College’s theme for 2015–16, based on Genesis 12:1–9, was also a fitting send-off for graduates as they explore their options after SBC. Whether they pursue further studies, a vocation, or ministry opportunities around the world, God’s call to serve Him, wherever they are, continues.
A total of 46 students graduated with a 1-year certificate, 2-year diploma, Associate of Arts, or 3 or 4 year Bachelor of Arts. An additional eight students also completed the pilot for our new discipleship program, “Activate.”
Celebrations began Friday evening with the Spring Concert, showcasing the hard work and accomplishments of our music and drama groups. Graduation ceremonies took place Saturday, Apr. 23, 2016, at Steinbach EMC. The church was filled with family and friends who took in the commencement address by Chris Marchand, valedictory address by Andrew Friesen, and the presentation of diplomas and degrees to the graduates.
The Steinbach Bible College class of 2016 has been noted for its generosity and for intentionally caring for and leading, the student body. We are excited to watch as these graduates follow Jesus, serve the church, and engage the world with the empowerment and training they received at SBC.

“Based on Genesis 3:1-9”??
Please explain.
Thank you for your question! The theme was based on Genesis 12:1-9 (the all of Abram), not the passage noted. We apologize for our error.
