Bethany College Commencement

The graduation weekend of Bethany College, Hepburn, Sask., Apr. 21–22 included “Jabulani,” a spring concert where the choir, led by Randy Klassen, premiered Fred Onovwerosuoke’s Afro-Caribbean Mass. At Sunday afternoon’s commencement service, Bethany College conferred 71 degrees: 2 certificates, 37 biblical studies diplomas, 10 bachelor of Christian studies, and 16 bachelor of arts. Student council president Nick Poetker addressed graduates with a challenge to follow Jesus’ example: “Even he did not look to his own plans; he was/is bent on doing the will of God the Father.”
