Refresh Mobile Showers, a ministry of King Road MB Church and other local partners, is helping to bring essential hygiene to people in Abbotsford, B.C., who don’t have access every day.
When the B.C. government slashed arts funding several years ago, a group of Christian artists in Delta, B.C., saw “an incredible opportunity to serve our community as well as use the gifts God has given us,” says Imagine That coordinator and instructor Janet Priebe. “We wanted to see more arts programs in our community, and felt called to jump in and do it.”

This month, the Herald interviewed Jascha Boge, Canadian conference moderator. He talked about his dreams for the conference, the challenges of managing a growing Stewardship Ministries fund, and Gathering 2008 in Montreal. This is his third term as moderator, a position he first held from 2000–2004.
