Paul Doerksen has been appointed as assistant professor of biblical and theological studies at Canadian Mennonite University, Winnipeg, beginning July 1. He will have teaching responsibilities in theology and ethics, history of Christianity, and Anabaptist studies. Holding a PhD from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ont., a master of theological studies from Conrad Grebel University College, Waterloo, Ont., and BREs from University of Winnipeg and Briercrest Bible College, Caronport, Sask., Paul previously taught at MB Collegiate Institute, Winnipeg, and authored Beyond Suspicion: Post-Christian Protestant Political Theology in John Howard Yoder and Oliver O’Donovan (2009). A member of Fort Garry MB Church, he is Manitoba representative on the national MB board of faith and life.
