Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary (MBBS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Raymond Bystrom as interim associate dean of the MBBS-ACTS campus, effective Aug. 1. Ray holds MCS and MDiv degrees from Regent College and a DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary. He brings extensive pastoral, administrative, faculty, and board experience to the position. The author of several books, he served as a faculty member in pastoral ministries at MBBS-Fresno from 1991 until his retirement in 2007, and since then has taught courses at ACTS.

Frank E. Johnson was appointed vice president of academic affairs at Tabor College, Hillsboro, Kan., July 1. He replaces Lawrence Ressler, who is returning to full-time teaching as professor of social work at Taylor University, Upland, Ind. Johnson, who holds a PhD in history from Michigan State University, has most recently been serving as special assistant to the president at Goshen College, Ind.

After 19 years of ministry as associate pastor of worship and connections at Eagle Ridge Bible Fellowship, Coquitlam, B.C., Shar Warkentin has resigned.
