Richard Martens, Ontario MB conference pastor, installed Mark Johnson as lead pastor at Vineland (Ont.) MB Church, Apr. 15. Mark was previously the youth pastor at Vineland MB. Mark and Patty have 5 children: Emma, Hannah, Ben, Luke, Josh.
Gospel Chapel, Grand Forks, B.C., welcomed Kristine Eyre as advocacy and community support worker, May 17. In this half-time staff position, Kristine facilitates a Higher Ground training course, coordinates the church’s weekly women’s outreach program, advocates for people in the community by connecting them with government and other service resources, and offers Christ-centred counselling. She has worked in the field of combating violence against women and children for many years and has volunteered at Gospel Chapel for a year. Kristine and Bob have 3 children.
Janette Willms began as children’s ministry pastor at Forest Grove Community Church, Saskatoon, June 8. She has a BEd from University of Saskatchewan and a certificate in Christian studies from Covenant Bible College, Calgary. She has previously worked in worship ministry at Kensington Road Church (Evangelical Covenant), Calgary, and has volunteered with Forest Grove’s children’s ministry program for 2 years. Janette is married to Andrew.
