The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada is deeply concerned with today’s Supreme Court of Canada decision to strike down all three provisions of Canada’s prostitution laws, creating a legal vacuum. The current laws remain in place for one year, during which time the Government of Canada has the option to abandon them or implement new laws.
Canada’s churches have been given a gift, and its authors have been travelling the country to help unwrap it. The gift is the first major contemporary study of Canadian young people who were “raised Christian,” or as MBs often say, “grew up in a Christian home.”
Should evangelicals be engaging in broader dialogue with other Christian traditions in order to impact Canada with the gospel?
