MennoMedia is the new name for the binational agency created when Mennonite Publishing Network (MPN), publishing agency of Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada, and Third Way Media, a program of Mennonite Mission Network, merge July 1. The 8-member binational board voted unanimously in favour of the name. MennoMedia will continue to use the agencies’ 3 brand names: Herald Press, Third Way Media, and Faith & Life Resources. Russ Eanes, director of finance and operations for Mennonite Publishing Network, will become executive director of MennoMedia July 1, replacing current MPN director Ron Rempel, who is retiring after 8 years. Most of the staff – about 20 − will work out of Third Way Media’s office in Harrisonburg, Va., while others will be stationed in Waterloo, Ont., Winnipeg, and parts of the U.S.—themennonite.org
