Dora the explorer

Although Dora the Explorer succeeds within each episode of her children’s show, the more profound triumph arises from the accumulation of all her adventures. In fact, there is an “in-order-to-ness” about the entire cartoon series.

The plot thickens when we meet the cunning Swiper the Fox, who invariably pops out from a hiding spot to steal an essential piece of equipment, or snatch one of Dora’s animated-object friends.

Enough with trying to save the world – that’s an impossible and thankless job. Our task is to save Baby Jaguar. As I sit on the living room couch with my youngest child nestled on my lap and a “Dora the Explorer” book in my hand, I’ve concluded we can accomplish this task with God’s help. Then there will be some peace in the world.”
