Nickolas Schmidt

Nickolas’s family came to Canada in 1924, settling in Elm Creek, Man. After WWII, he bought a trucking business in Winnipeg, picking up farm goods in the Carman, Man., area. In 1954, Nickolas and Lily began mixed farming near Culross, Man. They retired in 1982 and returned to Winnipeg. He continued to help his sons with farming. Nickolas was active in the MB church and thankful to God for his faithfulness.
