Nettie Schulz died Nov. 4, 2010. She was born Sept. 28, 1926 in the Gretna, Man. area to Cornelius and Maria Wiebe. She grew up in a Christian home, and faith was always part of her life. She graduated from Winnipeg Bible Institute (now Providence College) in 1947 and completed training as a practical nurse. She married Henry Schulz Sept. 23, 1950, and they farmed near Holmfield, Man., for 27 years before moving to Killarney, Man. They had 5 children, adopted 1, and fostered many others. Nettie was a hardworking farmer’s wife, involved in church, with a heart for children’s ministry. She was a charter member of the Tri-Lake Health Centre Auxiliary. Nettie was a prayer warrior and will be greatly missed. Predeceased by Henry, Nettie is mourned by children Lloyd (Arlene), Esther (Ron) Dawson, Peter (Linda), Mary (Albert) Zubert, Paul; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; foster children.
