Maria Martens

Maria was born shortly after her parents emigrated from Russia. She received her elementary education in Abbotsford, B.C., and attended normal school in Vancouver. Maria began her teaching career in Kelowna, B.C., and later taught in Abbotsford, retiring in 1984.
