Margaret FalkMargaret Falk died Dec. 24, 2011. She was born Nov. 28, 1929 in Burwalde, Man. to Jacob and Anna Willms. She entered a relationship with the Lord at Bible camp. When Margaret was 16, the family moved to B.C. At Arnold MB Church, Abbotsford, B.C., Margaret sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school, and worked with youth. In her final year at Abbotsford Bible School (1952–53), she met Werner Falk. They married Aug. 6, 1954. Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother with a true servant’s heart. She did domestic work for years to help support the family, and her employers became her close friends. Margaret became a member at Bakerview (MB) Church, Abbotsford, in 1970. She volunteered 25 years at the Clearbrook MCC store, and as she sewed thousands of blankets and diapers to be sent overseas, she prayed for every child who would receive them. Margaret fell and injured her knee, which led to complications. Margaret is mourned by Werner; daughters Cheryl (Ben Wall), Coleen (Gord Lint), Janet (Raynold Nickel); 10 grandchildren and their 4 spouses; 3
great-grandchildren.
