Louise immigrated to Winnipeg in 1948 with her mother. There she met Jake, and they enjoyed 45 years of marriage. She had a strong faith and close relationship with God. She enjoyed ∀ Elmwood MB Church’s Willing Helpers fellowship. Louise relished her time with her grand-children, spoiling them with her cooking and baking. She loved family time at the Wanasing Beach cottage. She travelled widely, her most meaningful trip being a 1999 visit to her childhood home in Poland with her daughters and granddaughter.
