DeathsLindaLinda accepted Christ at 9 and was baptized at 12. Main Centre MB Church emphasized missions, and Linda felt a call. She trained at Briercrest Bible Institute, Caronport, Sask., 1947–52, then at business college. After working at The Evangelical Alliance Mission headquarters, Chicago, Linda travelled to Pakistan, where she set up records and organized systems, and assisted in 2,000 cataract operations. With a passion to translate children’s Bible lessons into Urdu and train teachers, Linda joined Child Evangelism Fellowship. After receiving the telegram in 1974, “Father in heaven. Please come home,” she returned to find housing for her mother and brother, and became engaged to Ernie. They loved, laughed, and supported each other through loss. In her last days, Linda led a doctor and nurse to the Lord. She will be remembered for her devotion to family.
