Katie Siemens

Katie’s family immigrated to Canada in 1926, pioneering in Namaka, Alta., until moving to Vineland, Ont., in 1938. Katie volunteered at the Fairview ladies time out and at the thrift store. Katie and Henry moved to Winnipeg, Man., in 1990, to be closer to their children. Katie enjoyed working in the kitchen at Elmwood MB and at her apartment congregate meal program. She made quilts and afghans. Katie had a contented spirit and enjoyed people.
