Jacob Dueck

Jake’s family settled on a farm in Coaldale, Alta., in 1926. At 10, Jake accepted Christ as Saviour, and purposed to follow him all his life. As a teen, he was baptized into Coaldale MB Church, where he taught Sunday school and served in deaconate and lay ministry. After serving as a WWII conscientious objector, Jake married Martha and farmed in Coaldale, and then Tofield, Alta., where Jake served in leadership at the MB Church. Jake and Martha spent their retirement in Tofield, Alta., and Vernon, Langley, and Abbotsford, B.C.
