Jacob came from a family of pastors. He married Selma in Winnipeg. Here, they raised 3 children and Jacob worked 34 years for Eaton’s downtown until retiring. Jacob and Selma relocated to Brandon, Man., to be closer to family. After her death, Jacob moved into an assisted living home in Niverville, Man. He died following a short illness.
