Henry Letkemann died Sept. 17, 2010. He was born July 25, 1931 in Schoenhorst, Ukraine to Peter and Aganetha Letkemann. He attended school for only 4 years. In 1943, the family fled to Poland. In 1946, they went to Germany where they waited until 1948 to immigrate to Manitoba. Henry was baptized into Oak Lake (Man.) MB Church. In 1951, the family moved to Vancouver. In 1956, Henry married Marion Unger. Henry was dedicated to his faith and his church. He was a leader in the Mennonite boys’ club and his church youth groups. He was an usher in the crusades of Billy Graham, Leighton Ford, and Janz Team. Henry is mourned by Marion; children Linda, Lori, Peter; their families; 2 sisters. The celebration of life was at Bakerview MB Church, Abbotsford, B.C.
