Helen Driedger died Sept. 29, 2010 after a lengthy illness. She was born July 3, 1924 in Waldheim, Ukraine to Jacob and Anna Peters. Helen spent her youth in Pitt Meadows, B.C. She was a born educator and enjoyed teaching in isolated areas of Lower Mainland, B.C., and Wembley, Grande Prairie, and Calgary, Alta. She became a member of Bakerview MB Church, Abbotsford, B.C., in 1980. Predeceased by husband George in 1979, 1 sister; Helen is mourned by children Dennis, Anne (Nick) Lenstra; 1 grandson; 4 siblings and their families.
