Harold viewed business as a way to serve the Lord. He and Viola co-founded J&H Builders Warehouse (still in the family) in 1962. Harold enjoyed helping Bethany College, Bible camps, the food bank, Gideons, Mission Aviation Fellowship, Salvation Army, and Samaritan’s Purse. An evangelist at heart, he distributed countless Bibles to strangers and acquaintances. His morning quiet time with God was a daily treasure. He loved to bring joy to his family with road-trips, horse-back riding, and vacations at Anglin Lake and Palm Springs.
