Garth established a successful wheat farm in Moscow, Idaho, before moving to Canada in 1965, where he met Marie in 1984. Garth and Marie moved to New Meadows, Idaho; Mesa, Ariz.; and to Moscow in 2004. Garth loved adventure: fishing, boating, and travelling. He flew his Citabria plane and rode his motorcycle whenever time allowed. He was active in the local church, and his commitment to his heavenly Father grew stronger over the years. Garth was predeceased by daughter Anita Jackson, April 1994. He was his daughters’ hero, a gentle example of fatherhood and Christian love.
