Esther Berg

Esther Margaret Berg died June 3, 2009. She was born Sept. 28, 1927 in Waldheim, Sask. to Gerhard and Justina Willems. Esther married Herman Berg Aug. 27, 1950. They lived in Waldheim, Hepburn, Hague, and Elbow, Sask., and in Germany, following Herman’s teaching jobs. Esther was a great cook since her teen years, a seamstress, and added knitting, Artex painting, and embroidery to her hobbies. She was a member of West Portal Church. Predeceased by daughter Karen Marie, 1 brother; Esther is mourned by Herman; children Arnie (Brenda), Waldo (Jenny), Vernelle (Cornelius) Buller, Kel (Lora); 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 siblings.
