Emilie grew up on a farm in Leonow, Poland. She attended Sunday school as a child, and accepted the Lord in her 20s. Andreas was conscripted, and died after 4 years of marriage. In 1945, Emilie’s father was also conscripted and never heard from again. The family left Poland, and after 3 years in Germany, went to Paraguay. Here Emilie was baptized and married Oswald. They moved to Canada in 1959. Emilie found joy in homemaking and raising her children. She loved church and ladies club meetings. Emilie supported radio ministries, visited residents in a care home, and faithfully prayed for family and others.
