Deaths_EBullerElizabeth Buller died Feb. 24, 2012 at 101. She was born Sept. 8, 1910 in Tiegenhagen, Ukraine to Cornelius and Sara Fast. The family lost their business, and Elizabeth’s father was imprisoned for 2 years. Without MCC’s help, the family wouldn’t have survived. The family immigrated to Canada in 1924. Four years later, Elizabeth was baptized into North End MB Church, Winnipeg, where she sang in the choir and met Cornelius Buller. They married Oct. 4, 1934. Elizabeth was a member of North Kildonan MB Church, Winnipeg, where she sang in the choir, managed the church library, and participated in many activities. This strong, energetic, and well-informed woman lived lovingly committed to her family, church, and community. Predeceased by Cornelius in 1981; Elizabeth is mourned by children Eleanore (Jake) Unger, Ed (Eliana), Herb (Erna), John (Evelyn), Neil (Joyce); former daughter-in-law Anita Warkentin; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
