Doris Wiebe

Doris Elaine Wiebe died Mar. 23, 2010. She was born June 21, 1934 in Main Centre, Sask. to John and Martha Schroeder. She accepted Christ as a youth and was baptized in the South Saskatchewan River. After graduating from Briercrest Bible School in 1956, she began working with Sask. Government Telephones in Swift Current, Sask. Doris married Phil Wiebe in 1958 and moved to B.C. She was a member of Willingdon Church, Burnaby, for more than 40 years, where she enjoyed teaching preschoolers and singing alto in the choir. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2005. Predeceased by 3 siblings, Doris is mourned by Phil; children Wayne (Brenda), Ron (Pearl), Janica; 4 grandchildren; 1 sister; in-laws.
