Death_AnnAnn Neufeld died Nov. 13, 2011 at 101. She was born Apr. 27, 1910 in Langham, Sask. to Peter and Elizabeth Schultz. Ann accepted Christ as Saviour in 1930 during evangelistic services led by her uncle David Schultz and was baptized into Dalmeny (Sask.) MB Church. She attended Dalmeny Bible School and enjoyed singing in the choir. Ann married Lawrence Neufeld Apr. 25, 1935. On their Waldheim, Sask., mixed farm, Ann enjoyed tending the garden, sewing, and quilting. Visiting her missionary daughter in Zimbabwe in 1974 was a highlight. In later years, Ann and Lawrence spent winters in Mesa, Ariz., and summers at Anglin Lake, Sask., where she enjoyed fishing. In 1992, Ann and Lawrence moved to Saskatoon and joined Forest Grove Community Church. Failing health necessitated her move to a care home. She greatly missed Lawrence’s companionship after his death Sept. 24, 2005. Ann had a strong, enduring faith in God, faithfully praying for family, church, and missions. Predeceased by Lawrence, 3 brothers; Ann is mourned by children Myrl (Merv) Driedger, Deanna (Jim) Peters, Wendell (Penny); 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
