Albert Wohlgemut died May 3, 2010 at 90, following a brief illness. He was born May 4, 1919 in Wymyschle, Poland to Heinrich and Minna Wohlgemut. After WWII, he married his sweetheart, Irmgard Lange, in 1947. Two years later, they immigrated to Canada, living briefly in Manitoba before settling in Kitchener, Ont. A tool and die maker by trade, Albert enjoyed serving his Lord as deacon, choir member, and trustee at Kitchener MB Church. In 2005, Albert and Irmgard moved to Tabor Manor Apartments, St. Catharines, Ont. Albert displayed a thankful spirit to the end. Predeceased by Irmgard in 2008, 4 siblings; Albert is mourned by children Rita (Robert) Tjart, Ben (Margaret), Gordon (Janet), Betty (Gordon) Lough; 11 grandchildren and their spouses; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 siblings; in-laws.
