Al spent happy years as a teacher, band instructor, and principal in the Delta, B.C., district. He developed many friendships as director of financial awards at Trinity Western University, Langley, B.C. Al served 20 years as choir director at Kennedy Heights Church, Delta, and with seniors at Northview Community, Abbotsford. In retirement, Al enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, woodworking, and singing in the Watchmen Four Quartet. His salvation by grace became ever more meaningful to him in his last days.
