After leaving Russia, Aganetha’s family spent 4 years in China before immigrating to Brazil. There she met Abram, and they owned businesses and raised cattle. Aganetha and Abram immigrated to Canada, staying 5 years in Winnipeg. In Abbotsford, B.C., they purchased a layer farm. They retired in 1986 and spent years travelling. In her last years, Aganetha was well cared for at Menno Care Home, Abbotsford. Her greatest legacy was her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She showed interest in their lives and prayed for them daily.
