This piece was created by six-year-old Janaya Kasdorf of North Kildonan MB Church, Winnipeg. “The last time Janaya was at our house,” writes her grandmother Pat van Nes, “we talked about the Herald contest. With her Lego people and some accessories, Janaya built her interpretation of the gospel: telling people about Jesus. It was important to her that people were sitting around the speaker and listening to the story. We put the Lego people on my Bible open to John 3:16.” Janaya displays a keen interest in Bible stories and songs about Jesus, writes Grandma Pat.
