Highland MB Church, Calgary, welcomed Steve Pahl as senior pastor Aug. 1. Steve has been in ministry for 16 years. He grew up in Coaldale, Alta., and was educated in Saskatoon. Steve and his wife Angela have 2 children.

Bob Snider
began as lead pastor at St. Ann’s (Ont.) Community Church in September. Bob was pastor at Rice Road Community Church for 6 years. He earned a master of theological studies at Tyndale Seminary in 2006 and is married to Bonnie.

Port Rowan (Ont.) MB Church held a welcome and commissioning service Sept. 7 for youth pastor Mark Hunt. Mark studied at Briercrest College and served a number of internships. He plans to continue his education during his 3-year term at Port Rowan. Mark and his wife Kelly have 2 sons.

Terry Wicks began as lead pastor at Glenbush MB Church in Medstead, Sask., Nov. 1. Terry is married to Pat and previously served at Calvary Bible Church in Kingston, Ont. John Klassen concluded 10 years of ministry as lead pastor at Glenbush in September.

Prairie Winds Church in Moose Jaw, Sask., affirmed Peter Mitchell’s service as part-time chaplain to the Moose Jaw police force, and held a commissioning service Sept. 7. Peter has an MA in theology from Briercrest Seminary. He and his wife Judy have 4 daughters.

The Alberta MB Camp Evergreen Camping Ministries Commission announced Kerry Precht has taken the position of executive director. Kerry, who is a member at River West Church in Edmonton, worked for the Alberta government and recently completed an MA in political science. She has been involved at Camp Evergreen since 1987 as a camper, counsellor, program staff, and member of the Camping Ministries Commission.
