God for my insecurity, I would claim,
Your infinite power, in Jesus name.
With your immediate presence in me abide,
Refuge of inner peace, in Thee I will hide.
Let Your security in me be felt.
Utter Your voice and the earth will melt!
God, I know my insufficiency and ask,
That by Your grace You’ll fit me for my task.
River of life, give me Your liberty
Make glad my soul in fruitfulness for Thee,
As by Your sufficiency I am indwelt.
Utter Your voice and the earth will melt!
God, break my stubborn independency,
Rekindle my dependency on Thee.
I want to be still and know that You are God.
Ruler of all, Your exaltation I laud.
As sovereign Victor, You have rightly dealt.
