Stillwood Camp hits 50th anniversary

Despite cloudy, cool weather, hundreds of well-wishers and former campers turned out  May 10 and 11 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stillwood Camp and Conference Centre, near Chilliwack, B.C. The weekend featured a petting zoo, concert, pony rides, live music, tours, hayride, a bounce castle, and even a firefighter’s display. It wrapped up with testimonies and a banquet. Started in 1958 as Columbia Bible Camp in rented facilities, they soon moved to their present site overlooking Cultus Lake. Summer 2008 registration is already full.
