A Florida congregation has planted a church on Facebook. Since 2006, Northland has webcasted live worship services, and more recently, offered online chat with pastors and other worshippers; more than 2,000 people use the venue each weekend. Some 200 Northland congregants are “online missionaries,” replying to thousands of emails from seekers. Now, five times every weekend, Northland brings live worship to the social networking site Facebook − a community of 400 million users.—EPA release
