One of Mennonite Publishing Network’s most popular books is Martyr’s Mirror, a book dating back to 1660. The work by Thieleman J. van Braght, illustrated with etchings by Jan Luyken, recounts the torture and death of more than 4,000 early Anabaptists, and contains songs, letters, and prayers. Amish and conservative Mennonite groups drive much of the sales, but almost 800 copies have been sold through Amazon.

Convergence, a new video series for church groups, presents dialogue between author Donald Miller (of Blue Like Jazz fame) and leading Christian thinkers on the “sea change” occurring in the North American church. Series creator Erick Goss says three trends are upending the church today: the aging of small groups, the younger generation’s demand for “reality” over shallow fixes or academic answers, and the use of technology. Conversation partners include Phyllis Tickle, Dan Allender, and Lauren Winner.
