New Beginnings

New Beginnings

God
life is full of new beginnings
when I sense your eyes on me
help me to see through your eyes

   sights

     sounds

          smells.

I long for your

    straightness

     strength

         firmness

and the circle of your love

which will include those

   things

      people

            events

to which I am frequently oblivious.

Make me

     simple

        honest

            pure

that I may be at rest

     with you

       the world

           and me.
