Deaths-WandaAt 16, Wanda committed her life to Jesus at Estevan (Sask.) Bible Camp, where she also met Palmer, whom she married 2 years later. They attended Millar Memorial Bible Institute, Pambrun, Sask., having their sights set on the mission field, but life took a different turn. Their lives revolved around managing the Mott farm and serving the church. Wanda was famous for her hospitality, despite modest means. After Palmer’s death, Wanda joined her parents in Summerland, B.C., before becoming staff at the Book Room at Prairie Bible Institute, Three Hills, Alta., for 7 years. Wanda returned to Penticton, B.C., to care for her parents until their death. There she met Ernie, with whom she enjoyed travelling – relocating some 20 times. They settled in Coaldale, Alta., joining the MB church Bible study. She died of an aneurism on the way home to Lethbridge, Alta., after vacationing with her daughter in B.C.
