Agnes accepted Christ at 11. When she was 15, the family moved to Virgil, Ont. Serving coffee at a wedding, Agnes met the groom’s 20-year-old son John. Agnes attended Eden Bible School in 1947. After their marriage, John’s father provided them with a 5-acre parcel in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., where Agnes spent the rest of her life. She enjoyed the Orchard Park quilting group and volunteering at the Christian Benefit Shop. Agnes supported her family through delicious baking and precious time.
