In operation for more than a decade, Third Way Café is a meeting place on the web committed to injecting Anabaptist Christian perspectives into the marketplace of ideas. “First Cup” opens to daily snippets of Scripture, a column by Melodie Davis, and reviews and comment on “Media Matters.” “Still Hot” opens to discussion threads, FAQs on Mennonites and Anabaptist beliefs, and audio and visual media. Third Way Café offers numerous links and plenty of thoughtful reflection.

On his blog entitled “Rumblings: Hope, Humour, and other ‘Eschatological Goodies,’” Nanaimo (B.C.) MB pastor Ryan Dueck offers his thoughts on everything from current affairs (e.g. atheist bus ads), to the challenges of parenting, and thoughts on books he is reading (e.g. N.T. Wright’s The Resurrection of the Son of God). All posts are tagged with categories to enable subject as well as chronological searches. Dueck also highlights the books he’s reading in a sidebar, along with links to other blogs and websites of likeminded interests.

With the tagline “Promoting Genuine Biblical Revival,” the site is not without an agenda, but is a repository of more than 16,000 downloadable audio sermons (in MP3 format) from well-known Christians, such as A.W. Tozer, William Booth, and K.P. Yohannan. Some sermons are also available in text or video formats. Greg Gordon moderates the “intra-denominational” site supported by “prayer and volunteers.” Revival is the site’s stated objective, “the preservation and propagation of classical vintage preaching” its mission. It also features a discussion forum, podcast sermons, vintage photos of well-known ministers, and an online archive of The Old Paths magazine.
