The Mennonite Artist Project is a website for artists of any discipline who have “an understanding of, or connection to, the Mennonite community.” Using a Ning software platform for social networking, signed-in users can create a page, view and comment on member pages, read articles and blogs, and share skills and materials. “We hope MAP will be a clearinghouse for the amazing variety of Mennonite arts activity happening around the world,” says web administrator Lowell Brown.

The Centre for Mennonite Writing is a project of the Goshen (Ind.) College English department but aims to be “a virtual hub for this sort of ongoing creative activity” according to site editor and English professor Ann Hostetler. The site has 3 components: journal – for new writing and criticism; encyclopedia – links to bibliographies, blogs, education, events, etc.; and community – news stories and discussion.—Mennonite Weekly Review
