An Abbotsford church’s project to provide more ministry spaces for its own activities has simultaneously satisfied another set of needs, worldwide in scope. This month, MB Mission moves into administrative offices and training facilities under a new roof in Northview Community (MB) Church’s just-completed administration and classroom building.

As the global mission organization’s activities expanded, so did its need for more office space than the rented facilities at Columbia Bible College, Abbotsford, B.C., could provide. In 2011, MB Mission asked to use Northview’s facilities. The congregation, already in agreement on their need for new space, voted to add another storey to their building project and invited MB Mission to use the extra floor.

Now, with reduced rental costs, MB Mission is praising God for new office capacity, ready-made training facilities, and even a designated prayer room, where supporters and staff can gather to pray for mission efforts. MB Mission spokesperson Larry Neufeld says, “We have been very blessed by God and by Northview in this new opportunity.”
