With over 4,700 sold, The Naked Anabaptist: The Bare Essentials of a Radical Faith is a runaway best-seller for Herald Press, the book imprint of Mennonite Publishing Network (MPN). With the first run of 5,000 copies from April nearly sold out, a second printing has been ordered. Especially satisfying for MPN executive director Ron Rempel is seeing Stuart Murray’s book go out in bunches of 10–20 copies to churches.—

Google struck a deal with the Israeli Antiquities Authority to scan the Dead Sea Scrolls using the multi-spectral imaging technology developed by NASA and post them online. Not only will the hi-res imaging place the scrolls in the digital domain, it may also uncover new letters and words not visible in the infrared photographs taken in the 1950s. Google estimates the first images will be online within months, with the entire project, including translations and related documents, taking five years to complete.—
